Lisbon Airport Lounges: Prices, Access and Best Options

If you have a long wait at Lisbon Airport, lounge access can be useful - particularly during busy morning and afternoon departure periods. The main public option is the ANA Lounge in Terminal 1, which is accessible after security and can be used by eligible airline passengers, partner members and travellers who pay for entry.

ANA Lounge at Lisbon Airport

The ANA Lounge is located after security in Terminal 1, in the Schengen-side commercial area near Praça Lisboa. It is the most straightforward lounge for travellers who do not receive lounge access through their airline or status programme because paid entry is available to the public.

The airport’s current booking information lists a maximum stay of three hours. Opening hours have changed over time, so verify the schedule for your travel date rather than relying on an old review.

Facilities typically include seating, Wi-Fi, snacks, hot and cold drinks, flight-information screens and work areas. Shower access may be sold separately or included in a higher-priced package.

How much does Lisbon Airport lounge access cost?

ANA has recently listed adult lounge access at around 35€, with separate prices for children and optional shower packages. Because airport service fees can be updated, treat this as a guide rather than a guaranteed future price.

For a three-hour stay, 35€ can be reasonable if you would otherwise buy a meal, several drinks and workspace in the terminal. For a short one-hour wait, the value is much less convincing.

Can Priority Pass or airline status get you in?

Access depends on the current agreements between the lounge, airlines and membership programmes. Some passengers flying with partner airlines can enter free or at a reduced rate, while others use lounge programmes supplied through a credit card or travel membership.

Always check the lounge listing inside your membership app shortly before travel. Airport lounge partnerships change more often than airport terminals do.

What about TAP lounges?

TAP Air Portugal operates its own lounge facilities for eligible passengers, primarily depending on cabin class, airline status and Star Alliance eligibility. These are usually more relevant to travellers flying TAP or another qualifying airline than to someone simply looking to buy a one-off pass.

If your ticket includes lounge access, use the lounge specified by your airline rather than automatically paying for the ANA Lounge.

Are there lounges in Terminal 2?

Lisbon’s Terminal 2 is a simpler departure terminal used mainly by low-cost airlines. Most lounge options are associated with Terminal 1, so passengers departing from Terminal 2 should not assume they can comfortably use a T1 lounge immediately before boarding.

Remember that the terminals have different security and departure flows. Check your airline and terminal before paying for any lounge product.

Which Lisbon Airport lounge should you choose?

For most passengers without airline status, the ANA Lounge is the clearest paid option. For TAP or Star Alliance premium passengers, the lounge included with your ticket or status will generally be the better choice.

A lounge is most worthwhile when you arrive early, need to work, have a long connection or want a calmer place to eat before boarding. Lisbon Airport can become crowded, so that quieter environment has real value at peak times.

Confirm four things: your departure terminal, whether lounge access is already included in your ticket or card benefits, the lounge’s current opening hours and the maximum permitted stay.

If you only have a short wait, spend the money elsewhere. If you have two or three hours to fill at a busy Terminal 1, paid lounge access can be one of the more useful airport upgrades.
